A metallic foil is applied to the surface with heat and pressure. Modern digital foiling prints straight from your file, with no plates or dies.
- Best for: notebook and journal covers, including soft covers.
- The look: metallic gold, silver or copper. It takes on the texture of the cover, and looks slightly different on soft-touch and standard PU.
- Good to know: ships as soon as it's printed. Detail can get lost on textured covers: minimum line 0.4mm on smooth surfaces, 1mm on textured.
- Artwork: vector, fonts converted to outlines.
- Individual names: yes.
